This is one of those models that is a real treat. Not often seen these days in 1:1 form. For me, this is such an unusual car and model. Looking at it today, I am mystified by the thought process that went into this design when it was 1st issued in 1949, albeit the 1st generation was more "bath-tub" in style than this 1952 version, it is still very unusual. With Nash's limited funds in the 50s, it's not unbelievable that this basic body style lasted until Nash ended with the 1957 model year.
SunStar issued this model in a couple of color combinations, and I always intended to pick up another color. That didn't happen, and I am pleased to have this one, which was my 1st color choice.

Man, do I remember these driving the streets when I was little. Then they slowly disappeared. Great photo array John!
Love it! John, these cars always remind me of the Superman TV Series. This color combo is a standout in a crowd.
As usual great pics too!

I remember back in the late 50s my parents and their friends laughing at the bathtub design Nash. I thought they were super ugly too for many years, but now I appreciate them for their differences and their place in automotive history.

John, what great images of this excellent 1952 Nash Ambassador ! It is a superb 1/18 release from SunStar and it a real highlight diecast model from them. I have four of this one in different color schemes and it is impossible to pick just one favorite from among them.
@jack-dodds I was frankly surprised when SunStar brought out this model but thrilled to have it in my collection.
