I thought this engine had 4 coils and two plugs per cylinder. I can't explain three wires..... ??? 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔Â

The Colombo V12 is set up that way for the 330s and 412s, but I don't see all of that on this Lampredi.
Gentlemen! I'm confused about which lines are you referring? Are you speaking of the yellow or black lines?Â
The yellow lines are fuel, and the black are spark plugs. You can see the yellow are connected to the fuel pump at the front of the engine. Also, one yellow line is going into the firewall, presumably into the cockpit dashboard. That's likely the choke. The black lines are connected to the two distributors on the cylinder heads in the back of the engine. Somehow, I can help but believe I'm on the wrong page of this conversation. LOL! 😆Â

Really studying these pics reveals that there are indeed JUST TWO wires (black ) per cylinder.Â
That "group of three (wires )"Â to which Rich refers is actually 2 wires from the left side of the engine and 1 wire (only one wire can be seen ) from the right side of the engine.Â
Mystery solved. 😀 😆Â
@chris Aren't the red terminals spark plug caps? It's where the black wires end after emerging from the wire shield..
Aren't the red terminals spark plug caps?
That's what I believe them to be, yes.Â

Oh, BTW:
I watched major parts of Reservoir Dogs again but still never saw a 1965 Cadillac (like JADA's 1/18 '65 ).  I only saw a yellow 1966 Cadillac (the pics you sent ).
"Mystery #2"  🤔 🤔 🤔 🤨Â
