82 901s were built until Peugeot claimed dibs on 3 number models with a zero in the middle. So, The new Porsche became the Type 911 and all 82 were kept by Porsche for shows and testing with none sold to the public. CMC went all out on their replica 901s giving this footnote in automotive history a touch of immortality. I love the complex wipers and the two leather filler guards.
