For me, the star of the NNL East show was this elderly (Russian?) guy who displayed two scratchbuilt models that just blew me away with his imagination and the amount of hours in planning and execution. From the tip of the immense 'cow catcher' to the rear revolving turret with elevating barrel, this up-armored beast of a tanker bristles with 6 barreled chain guns and guards to repel any assault by Wez and his gang of cutthroats.

That's cool and certainly a hellofalotofwork but these Mad-Max-ish-Fantasy models never really appealed to me. I'll always get more excited over replicas of actual 1:1 vehicles. I can imagine you admiring this one though! 😀 😀Â
