These are two 1950 Chevrolet 2-door coupes as done really nicely some years ago by MotorMax. I have this model automobile in a couple of different color schemes and they were quite inexpensive at their original price. I believe I picked up both at various times at Wal-Mart stores.

Great pics! No one would ever guess that it's a "$5 model!" Well, that's what I paid for mine (why I didn't buy a case of them, I'll never know... 🙄 🙄 🙄)
Love your pics! Every time I see a vintage city street scene pic I immediately get that fantasy craving to jump in a time machine and set the dial to 1955.

Ahhhh; that was a year! I was the ripe old age of 8. Third grade was cool. I had plenty money to buy the necessary candy bars to entice the women (Good-looking second graders). I was strong enough by then to never get picked on, had the fastest bike on the block and was king of the dog! His name was Prince. He followed me everywhere.
Fifty Six was cool too but by fifty eight, I started feeling my advanced years. Boy I miss ol' '55!
@perrone1 56 was my year. 16 years old with a drivers license in my pocket and a 50 Mercury coupe as my ride and a job at the local drug store to keep the car going and lots of girls to date. At the time I didn't realize how lucky I was but I was truly blessed in every way. Jack, if you find that time machine please take me with you.
Oh man, Bob, I hope Jack finds it and maybe we ALL can hold on to a portion of it and go back to '56. And can you imagine if we all assumed our 'then' ages but know what we know now? Oh Mercy!

- This is neither here nor there and even though I wasn't alive in 1956, I've always loved that year AND my model RR stops at 1956 (nothing in that collection replicates anythingpast 1956 ) Why you ask?
Because in 1956 America, that was basically the last time one could see steam AND diesel engines running together.
PS
Love the Moody Blues, saw them in concert... pretty cool! 😎 😏 😎 😎
The wife and I LOVE steam locomotives. I record 'Trains & Locomotives' on the RFD Channel because they showcase so many of the old iron horses. We last rode a steam Loco train in Alaska on the 'White Pass & Yukon Route'. The highlight of our Alaskan Cruise.
