Well, it could be done with a star-filter in front of the lens, or it could be added later in a photo-shop program. But, in this case, it was just pure luck and serendipity as the highlight of the strobe light caught the right angle to produce the effect within the standard Pentax DSLR lens !

Whoa, Bob ....... yep parallel parking this gorgeous but huge Fifties Dodge yacht would be quite the effort ! I'd love to have a real Custom Royal ..... but I'd have to forgo attempts to parallel dock this beauty.

I'm one who loved the big Fifties cars and fins then and now ..... and yet one who also loves the more restrained designs of the Gran Turismo Hawk, the mid-Sixties Imperials and Continentals, too. They ALL look great to me and I love having models of them !

Thanks, John ! Of course, as with basically all diecast models out there, this one isn't perfect and faults can be found with any model produced. But, it's fantastic subject matter, it features outstanding details and build quality ...... and (also like many models) it generally tends to look better in person and in hand, so it is worth checking out to get a first-hand view.

It's pewter poly and it does look good on a '59 Dodge, doesn't it ?
