This is Highway 61's exceptional version of the 1963 Pontiac LeMans with the 326 cid V-8 engine. In 1964, it would grow into something even more for Pontiac.

I would love to see this and its Olds cousin done in 1:43 by Goldvarg; who have already done the Buick wagon.

@jack-dodds Jack, I would buy them in a second. I do have this model and think it is quite nice.

Wasn't that also called the Pontiac Tempest ? Or am I thinking of a different model ?

@100ford2003, for 61-62, the LeMans was an upscale trim option on the Tempest. It became a separate model in the Pontiac lineup for '63 and was available as a coupe or convertible.

My fave design of the 1961 bunch we are discussing was the '61 Olds F-85 shown in pic #1&2.  Pontiac LeMans is pic #3&4;  Buick Special Skylark is #5&6.

I would buy all 3 if Goldvarg was to ever do them.

I always preferred the styling of the Oldsmobile.
