Hey, hey, hey.... I don't purposely look for mistakes I was just pointing that out. I love all my models and I don't look for any mistakes like I said I find very few mistakes anyhow it's just that with highway 61 they're always so precise with everything so I just thought I'd mention it especially because I had that green color with the black vinyl roof.
I hope you didn't take that post with negative comments I'm sorry if you did.

Steve, no problem ! No negative comments are inferred by your post at all. In fact, I was really only thinking of (the very few) collectors I was sometimes aware of at the old DCP where, rarely it seemed, a couple people seemed to live just to find a "mistake" and they might demean a replica and perhaps the younger guy or gal who collected Hot Wheels or dub-type or inexpensive allowance-friendly car models for their enjoyment. But if it didn't meet "their" standard of a true "collector" car, it was beneath them and therefore "wrong".
It also may have been those 1970 Barracuda were available for such a low price (I bought two of these brand-new H61's for $ 5 each) because they were already going to be recalled or were considered not accurate enough for a regular Highway 61's.
Lol, in any case, I like them regardless of possible vinyl top issues or not !
....yes, both those cars (Cuda & Challenger ) shown in my pic were "$5.00 jobs," but when they arrived, there was slight damage. Because I bought other items from that eBay seller, he refunded both purchases without requiring they be returned. So, considering these are free models, they look pretty good! 😏
I wish I had acquired more HWY61 models when I worked for Randy at the swap meets.
Instead of cash payments for my time worked I chose model cars !
