After their success with the 1969 SC/Scrambler, for 19770, AMC brought out the Rebel "The Machine" as their low cost flagship muscle car that sported a high output 340HP 390 cid V8. "The Machine" package, beyond its striking red/white/blue livery included a ram air scoop, hood mounted tachometer, special interior trim, upgraded suspension, "Twin Grip" differential and cast alloy 15" wheels built by Kelsey-Hayes. A little over 2300 units were built.
It's a great little low cost model and all I did with this was tone down the wheels to match the real finish and painted the missing tri-color bar below the grill.
A very nice model. I added this one to my collection years ago because it was unique.

Nicely done.
Have it, love it. Just recently picked up a 1/43 scale as well.
Terrific views of this not-often-seen muscle car from American Motors. It's a fine looking car and I have both this white as well as a red version from Yat Ming. Very cool models !
I never liked this car back in the day, but I do now; mainly for its rarity.
