IMO, not necessarily.   Showcase plastic can be brittle, one good drop (or drop kick ) is often all that's required to fracture plastic such as this.    Who knows what wild ride  your package experienced before landing on your doorstep. 

That Dealership should remedy this without hesitation.    Good luck, and I'm sorry for your loss. 

@chris has been confirmed, the person who packed it was aware of damage. Was under impression I knew of this at the time !

@modeldadeeee  Well then, you BETTER receive some kind of compensation unless they can prove you knew about it.    Are they claiming you saw pictures that included damage?

No pictures, no texts, no emails. My cash went to them, busted case to me. Yes they are overnighting the cover to me. The busted one goes back to them.

@geno I try really hard to support local businesses. But when I am deceived & made to hold them accountable,  well then I am done. I have a white Genesis G80 coming from Korea next week. It cost me a whole lot more, but I have had nothing but great success with them.
