That sedan is awesome (I love it ) and your collection looks great: neat, clean, and colorful. Congrats! 😎 😎 😎
@chris thank you very much. My home office is our daughters converted bedroom. Hence the rose colored carpets lol. I moved the othe guest rooms to the other side of the house. This way I don't have to travel far with my model vehicles. Also our Putbull has a direct line of sight to me so she won't whine lol.
"You can tell the person who packed it KNEW!"
Who knows what wild ride your package experienced before landing on your doorstep.
@modeldadeeee even though you have confirmed that the damage was done prior to shipping (which is inexcusable), the packaging was still woefully inadequate for a 1:18 model. It is fortunate that it was not abused enroute, or the model could have suffered as well.
I like to save the photos that my customers send me of their mutilated-in-transit packages. The first photo is a box which contained a 1:43 model, which was completely undamaged. The second was from a while back, and (if I remember correctly) that contained two 1:43 models, one of which was damaged.
The third photo was incoming from a distributor. It arrived soaking wet; no telling how long it had been sitting out in the rain (at least I HOPE it was rain 😱)! Incredibly, no damage. This vendor double boxed it and the inner box was bubble-wrapped, so all was good. Good packaging is incredibly important...the trauma these packages routinely experience is truly mind-boggling.
So yeah, the person that packed your model was not what you might call a "stellar" employee!

@daveg what the everlasting freak, was the shipper an accordion player lol. The replacement cover was packed and sent to me via Fedex. You can tell whoever packed it, knew it was going to be manhandled. It was packaged so well till I didn't want to pack the display cover out. Bravo to the folks who pack knowing it's getting ready to go through battle !
Hence the rose colored carpets lol.
I kid you not - I did notice that! But hey, who am I to judge? 😀 😉 😆
@chris lol my wife's like why don't we replace it all. Told her why when our goal is to remove ourselves from NJ's clutches.
@modeldadeeee GORGEOUS collection, by the way! The X Convertible Concept is one of my favorite concepts of all time!

@daveg I buy a lot of parts for my Genesis GV80 Signature from Korea. So when new " things " pop up. He has my credit card so he automatically ships them to meeeee.
Stock photos of my Signature, which is NO longer the case.

Right, CA is nice. Currently SoCal is 61 & sunny, southern FLA is 82, but MD is expecting 3-6" of that white stuff - snow, so, um...... don't go there. 😬 😬
