What a beautiful paint job that really gleams. Truly a purple-people eater color, lol !
There's a plethora plastic model finishing supplies on the market today that, if used correctly, can produce striking, mirror-like surfaces worthy of top honors. It's truly amazing. But not unlike quality 1:1 paint jobs, scale-finishes also involve meticulous prep and manual labor buffing & polishing. ...but of course, the results speak for themselves. 😎 😎
Wow, that's pretty - like a candy purple.
With the right technique, even auto paint in rattle cans can work quite nicely.
@rich-sufficool Absolutely, I do that often. Most of my 1/18 projects are finished in rattle can auto paint. 😀
That is a wonderful kit. I have this and a few other Gunze Sangyo kits, still unbuilt. What an amazing job your kit builder did. I certainly could not replicate it. Mine will stay unbuilt for now. You are a luck man, Chav.
Great masking job for the livery.
@chav Yep, those are the types of scale finishes possible for all those with talent who fully understand how to maximize the proper supplies & equipment. Truly amazing! 😎 😎 Thanks for sharing, Chav.
