... this is the only Amalgam model I've ever seen in the "flesh." It was displayed at Pastiner's on Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield, MI. It is 1:8 scale.
BTW, 1:18 scale Amalgam models can be acquired for around $1,000.

If you want to step up a bit to 1/8, this Juan Fangio W196 is a mere $15,225.

@rich-sufficool - At $15,000+ I've always said Amalgam models are not for model car collectors. They're built for race teams, dealerships, institutions, and uber-wealthy individuals. I believe Amalgam's recent foray into $1,000 1:18 is to appeal to the traditional model collector; albeit, still somewhat well-heeled.
