I'd LOVE to see 1/18 diecast 1960, '61 & '62 Cadillacs one day.... but I realize the "Diecast Gods"  are against me. 🙄 

I wasn't around in 1962, but I've read about it in history books. Sounds like it was a wonderful time to be alive in America.

62’ definitely  was a fantastic time to be a teenager, the beginning of the muscle car era and a time when really cool old cars could be readily found on used car lots…Like my 1st ride a bit beaten up 49 Olds coupe lol.

@larry-kemling ...yes, I remember.  Even in the late 70's, when we were buying cars..... many them were purchased for less than $100.  In 1980, my best friend bought a beautiful 1968 Mercury fastback that ran like a beast; he paid $38.00 for it.  My 2nd car, a 7 year old 1973 Impala, cost $100.  I drove that car for almost 2 years, relatively "issue free." 

It's nice that you have a 1/24 replica of your 1st car!

What do you think about the color choice? There weren't colors even remotely close to pink in the '62 Cadillac palette, "Heather poly" probably being the closest. 

@carcass1996 Correct. It drives me nuts when I see PINK 1959 Cadillacs too.  Most are painted "Mountain Laural" (pink) which is a 1956 Cadillac color.  PINK was NOT a factory option on 1959 Cadillacs.
