1949 Cadillac Modification
I promised some time ago to post my Chris Senyitko modifications and true to my word, here is the first one. The car started out as a 1949 Cadillac hardtop that has been converted to a convertible. I also added the wire wheels from an FM 1953 Cadillac Eldorado. The red paint really makes this car stand out.
I will provide one of Chris's outstanding modifications every day this week. ENJOY!
Looks nice. I like the tutone interior, where did you get the boot?
Saint Clair Shores, Michigan
Sharp. But, we know what the hardtop looks like - sit the convertible in front.

I'm not sure where the boot came from. It may have been from something that Chris had on hand from another project. Also, please note that there are (9) pictures, some of the convertible by itself. The pics with the hardtop are to show what the convertible was modified from.
That color combo is bee-yut-tiful...In the pics I'm able to view I don't see the Cadillac script on the front fenders. Are they there? Thnx for posting your pics!
Jeff, pardon me. I didn't realize that the initial photo was a 'link' to the other photos.

Steve, unfortunately if the scripts are decals they cannot be transferred to the modification that I am aware of. If they are the foil scripts, they can be as you will see in a future posting.
That is beautiful. I love the color.

That's beautiful! It reminds me of something Brian Denning would have had commissioned!!
Nice work! Never could figure out why FM didn't make that car into a convertible.
That convertible is drop dead gorgeous!
PIC: VERY nice! I have a 1:18 in a similar gorgeous red. The '49 is my favorite Cadillac.

The color on this car is even more rich and beautiful in person. Hard to capture it in a pic. Glad you all are enjoying it.
Thx Jeff. That's what keeps me from modding some cars.
