'53 Buick Estate Wagon Option Form (PIC)

My '49 Olds Wagon arrived today. It is a beautiful model. Excellent. DM hit another home run with this one. It looks great next to all the other wood bodied wagons.

Included with the model was a brochure for the new '53 Buick Estate Wagon. It appears that it will be a dark blue color (Imperial Blue according to jsssoftware.com). Also, what is the part number referenced on the DZ and on the JSS site? It does not appear to be searchable on DM's web site.

Sorry for the poor quality scan, but my scanner is not as great as it once was!

Bryan...It doesn't have an order/item number yet.

And yes, part numbers don't work on DM's website.

I like the green one better, although this is beautiful too.

WOW..."i" before "e" except after "c"...

check out the spelling of the word "receive" in the 5th bullet point on the brochure...

Thanks Larry. So does anyone know what is the purpose of the part number? Just curious...

Good catch Barry. I didn't even see that at first!

It's an inter-company thing Bryan.

Great catch Barry! I guess it's better to have a misque on the brochure than on the car. Smile
Have to confess, I would never have caught that error...but only because I can honestly say that I don't think I've ever read a brochure for any of the mint cars. Reason being that, I'm more interested in the pics of the cars and not all the fluff the mints are going to try and tease you with to buy it.

I do read the articles in Playboy though. LOL!

And sometimes W & Y is what Miss Gillogly would say (my high school English teacher).

DM 1953 LE Buick Estate Wagon

I just ordered this from Danbury. Delivery is October 2009. The Danbury Reprsentative found it in their system after I mentioned it was in a flyer that had a reference to the 1949 Olds Station Wagon. I think this is the number (864002) but am not certain.
