Beautiful pics John. My red TBird is OK, the only problem is that a piece of the mylar "chrome" on the quarter panes has disappeared leaving just the black insert.
My green '66 Corvette disintegrated, and I sold it to someone on the Board a few years ago. The only other car I had that rotted apart was the FM red '67 Camaro that was a "new in box" purchase on eBay. Fortunately I was issued a refund by the seller.
Also, DM's red '69 Firebird has the same issue.
It might be helpful to put together a list of models that are susceptible to the dreaded rot.
@jcarnutz I have been after this 1960 Thunderbird for so long I have it on a specific Ebay search, 90% that come up for sale are missing a part or damaged and those that are fully intact are around AUD 1,000.00 expensive......
