yeh I agree Jack: "Bambalino" can refer to several things, including a brand of baby slings and wraps, a type of olive tree, and a horseThe most common usage seems to be related to Bambalino Wraps, a company that sells organic cotton baby wraps designed for carrying infants and toddlers. There is also an Olive Bambalino, a compact olive tree variety, and a horse named Bambalino."

Wish we still had our database. My blue DM version seems darker than yours John, wondering it DM issued it in another blue?

PS had a hunt around and found it. Mine is Washington Blue. Interesting how DM made it in 2 shades of blue rather than a contrasting color.

Here is the first deco (painted) sample form 1997. Needs some dusting and minimal repairs.

I think it is some game of words. BambOlinA in Italian means "baby doll" or "little girl" used as sweetie or sweet heart.

Bamb__ino means "baby". BambAlinO could be a playful version of BambOlinA and bambino, meaning bright, vibrant color. I run AI search on the word and there is no clear origin or it is something lost in the past.

I have, and love the Bam blue Cab. The three window coupe is also a beautiful thing to behold!

For some unexplainable reason I like the ‘35’s grill better.

And the wheels 100% better!

Kevin, I'm with you on the 35 - especially those wheels!

@perrone1 Kevin and Tony I agree with both of you. While the bodies are virtually identical, the 35 grill makes it my favorite although I would welcome the 36 into my garage.

@bob-jackman Oddly I feel the exact opposite and love the '36 for its attractive grille.  The '35 is my least favorite of the 1932 through '40 Fords....go figure.  These years are all great looking cars though; Ford hit a home run year after year in a very tough marketing era.
