The DM ‘58 Bonnie’s are tough to find, and dear to purchase if you can find one. I know that the green/green hardtop is the fan favorite, but seeing this gorgeous new in the box ragtop at auction really called out to me. I just received it and had a chance to look it over and it stole my heart. What a Beauty she is! I decided to display it as shown, looks the best to me, and it really stands out as I actually have very little bright red in my collection. It’s another one that I waited far too long to acquire.
I have the other 2 but not that one! 😓 Nice catch Kevin
Yes, congrats Kevin. I have the green coupe and turquoise convertible, minus the buttwart. They are some of DM's best.💯👍
Yes, this one is a beauty. Happy to have one.
@whodeytink Thanks guys. I’d also like to get the other versions some day. Just a couple of cool pics.
(Look Geno, no buttwart!)

@sizedoesmatter I’m 100% with you John, the full length flaming rockets on the sides seals the deal with me. Pure 50’s genious!
Congratulations Kevin. Have all three of the DM versions plus several 1/43 scale by Buz at Route 66 Models. A friend recently bought one at the Mecum auction in Kissimmee, FL in January. A totally restored hardtop with every option available in 1958 including FI, A/C, power windows, bucket seats, antenna, Sportable radio, air ride, Autronic eye and the most rare option of all, the plexiglass pull down windshield sun visor. The 58 Bonnevilles and Impalas are both favorites of mine.
@bob-jackman LOL...what a coincidence....I just mentioned this car your buddy bought in another post.....now that is great minds thinking alike! Lol.
@jack-dodds My condolences Jack for having pulled you down to such a level. I beg your forgiveness.

@bob-jackman LOL. I find that a deeply deluded sense of self worth, a complete lack of self reflection and never comparing yourself to anyone else helps to maintain the "great mind" status.
Deep thinking is overrated and basically just showing off IMHO. For example, I think this sculptor, whoever he was, was a bit of a fraud. His subject is no deep thinker, he was obviously just on the can. Should have named it The Stinker IMHO.
