The final entry in this series of "Models of 1964" is DMs excellent example of a very fine Thunderbird.

Incredible shots John!
My favorite of the '60's T-bird Coupes by DM! The color is killer!
Don't know why I passed on this issue. Maybe because I didn't see your outstanding pictures!

Isn't that one of the most perfect models that DM ever produced ?
I don't have it, never did, but I've heard so much about it.

@100ford2003 Steve, this model is right there with DMs best. The interior detail is terrific as is the 65 convertible.
Unfortunately for me I never even got to see one in person.
Next time I'm at a model show I'm going to have to ask some of the vendors there if they have one. I'd like to see one and I'd like to see what they go for on the secondary market.
That vintage burgundy is one of my all-time favorite colors as I previously mentioned in one of my posts my Uncle Eddie had a 66 Mustang in that color with the black interior.
And my mom and dad bought a 1963 Country Squire in vintage burgundy. I absolutely loved that car. I was only 10 years old.
I can never decide which car I loved most. The 59 Impala that my dad had in white or the Country Squire.
Steve
One of DM's best! The color grabs me!
