A coupe 10 years later. Big changes compared to the '39/40 coupes I posted yesterday.Â
1949 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 Club Coupe - Danbury Mint

a beautifully shot set, and maybe a stealthy bunny rabbit peeking thru the fence 😯Â
the subject v the 39/40 fords appears to have added so much accent chrome and looks to have been much more expensive to produce
This Olds and the 48 Buick sedanette behind it are two of my favorite DM models. Great pictures.
A Home Run John! I remember when Danbury Mint announced this car, I couldn't get to my phone fast enough to place my order. I like it for so many reasons. Among them, it's a 2-door coupe (not the normal hardtop or convertible). Also, it's more the "Plain Jane" model with it's "dog-dish" hubcaps and barebones body style. Love the color because it is spot-on period correct, and most of all I like it because it's an OLDSMOBILE! When I think of my personal favorites in my collection, this little baby is on the list and close to the top of it. Â
