When FM first released their burgundy '41 Lincoln Continental cabriolet I jumped on it as I always loved that design. I also still hope for a Sonny Corleone coupe some day (as with the Cord), but I digress. This early FM was rather bare bones so I always kept an eye out for their multiple color changed LEs. I really liked the color combo on this blue metallic with glove leather interior and tonneau cover. I was really happy with the minor paint detailing and the addition of scripts on the fenders, hub caps and steering wheel center. All in all, it was a minor upgrade on tooling they must have amortized four times over, but for me, it was worth the purchase.
The color on this makes the model. I also have the maroon and white versions. A coupe would have been a must have for me along with post war coupes and cabriolet
I have this version. Came without the hood ornament from ebay. (ebay sorted). Was going to sell it on but I like the color too much, and, as mentioned, the updated detail so I'm looking for a cheap original as a "hood ornament donor". Interestingly on this version there are no side mirrors, no idea why.
Have it, love it!

Had it but gave it to a friend. 🙁
