The Chevrolet Corvette carried the C2 styling into a 2nd year for 1964, gone was the split rear window on the coupe. While the window was very distinctive, its visibility was limited, probably more costly to manufacture as well. The 1964 is my favorite year of the C2s, followed by the '65. My eyes see a cleaner look and a bit more crisp in overall style.

Both DM & FM issued some incredible models of the 1964 model year, and these are the only two I have.

From Franklin Mint - this model is from their fiberglass series of models. A Limited Edition, #149 of 500 in Daytona Blue. It is in convertible format with removable hardtop in place for these photos.

1964 Chevrolet Vette Conv C1
1964 Chevrolet Vette Conv C2
1964 Chevrolet Vette Conv C3
1964 Chevrolet Vette Conv C4

From Danbury Mint - the model is from their Annual Corvette Limited Edition Series, #3803. It is Saddle Tan. This model is in Coupe format.

Love the photos. The models look nice, although I never saw any of them in person.

Your pictures are great as usual.  I've got the DM Saddle Tan, but I sure wouldn't mind having that FM convertible!

Mint 64's are few and far between. They only made three of them, collectively. Only one missing here is the Ermine White coupe by TFM.

Great pics John!

@perrone1

I didn't realize that - I thought there were a couple others. The FM white version has always been on my wish list - just could never find one at a reasonable price.

Both of the FM Vettes were supposedly released at the same time, same small limited number, 500. I've had the FM blue roadster but not the white coupe.

@perrone1 I have all three of the 64 Vettes. The white 64  represents the fuel injected version. FM did a fabulous job with these unique fiberglass models.

Yes, and the white one has those to-die-for aluminum wheels too!
