A Model Dose... Tuesday 1/18/22

I`d roll that car right back in the garage before the "salts-of-the-earth" get to have their way with it.........an excellently presented scene that looks as if it may be one of those too tough to shoot dealies you described yesterday (Sunday?)

How many ways can I say OUTSTANDING?  Excellent presentation John, of an excellent model. 

This '49 Mercury was the SECOND diecast I purchased when I discovered 1:24 diecast and it remains on my Top Five all-time favorites list of all my models.  Since I was just a little guy in the 1960's, I loved the '49 Mercury for its looks and styling. 

And another reason I liked it was because I had an uncle who used to race cars, and it was a '49 Mercury that he raced.  In my opinion, the '49 Mercury holds iconic car status on equal ground with the '57 Chevy and the '59 Cadillac. 

Did I say it is an outstanding car?  I know I did, but it deserved repeating!  OUTSTANDING!
