Glassy Lakes Regional Lands and Waterways was on it`s way to bigger and better things. The latest development would provide INDIVIDUAL phone service to all occupied residences and tax-paid commercial properties.
The voyeuristic delights of Party-Line Snoopage would be sorely missed by many, who would now be obliged to develop alternate vices.
Gary Kreizowitz, never one to sleep on an opportunity, had priced ALL the Jim Beam in his store at 20% off…..supposedly to help those affected get over the hump.
In reality, Gary had to raise enough capital to replace his old billboard……. given the impending upgrade, it no longer seemed relevant and hip: “Gary Liquors _We always listen to our Customers”
None of this progressive falderal sat well with County Agent Pat Kinhat either.Pat had, for years, maintained a “discrete” relationship with Patty Ackley, the egg lady over on Hillside Court. He saw any new infusement of technology as possibly intrusive and threatening to his way-of-life.
Patty`s little flyspeck trailer business wasn`t much, but it was all she had left of her daddy`s (Eggs Ackley) estate. The area directly behind Patty`s den of iniquity seemed to have become an ersatz central staging and command center for the line stringing crews from downstate....the usual gang of idiots were all present and accounted for when Kinhat swept `round for his "double yolk" weekday special
It had the makings of a perfect storm.....as illustrated here by poorly lit images that were the best I could do on a 9" snowday ...... EDIT 012122 9:30am..cleaned up inconsistent imagery....made it snow more 🤨
here`s an example what I got yesterday Tony.....untouched/unedited
overblown images, unsuitable background, poor color choice for Patty`s parlor.....and it`s absolutely impossible to see what the images look like with the view screen washed out by reflective light
in retrospect,I probably should`ve green-screened it and used a different RV

Ohhh, that's lotsa snow! Our deciduous trees out back are poplar, maple and a smattering of oaks.
Gonna be mid to high 90 degree mark here in Melbourne for at least a week from tomorrow. I hate heat, anybody want to swap?
Great photo essay as usual John. Lighting looks fine to me.
thank you Geoff ......... 90° is rough, and I suppose that`s just getting Summer started for you?........if you get a passel of 72°,room temperature days, I`ll swap with you 🤔
