Interesting point Wiz.......Negativity just might be scaring new people away form our 1/24 devotion.
By the way-Welcome Back to both Wiz and Phil-we need people with a sane sense of our hobby and mild manners around here. I don't post every day, but do read every day, and some of this juvenile pattering is just too much-sounds like a cat fight between 2 preteen girls. Anyway, let's all keep a modicum of sense and good spirits around here.
Mark, I love the apple pie comparison..right on!
Like Rodney King said "Can't we all just get along?"

Very Good Mark I agree with you
There are many people out there that are possitively unhappy unless they can find something to complain about. No model is ever right to them no matter how good it is. I feel sorry for them. This is a wonderful hobby we have and we should be happy there are companies around to feed our addictions. By and large they do a great job. This BB has to start dwelling more on the positive and delete the constant negative. Keep all personal gripes that people have with each other off this site.
I agree Dan, up to a point. I don't think it is being negative to point out that many diecast companies chose to do great fifties cars (ie 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, 1958 Pontiac Bonneville, 1959 Buick Electra), then forego those great classic fifties roofline to make three more convertibles. Since it has been proven that the diecast makers monitor theser boards, I never miss an opportunity to say "Hey guys, please make more closed coupes, sedans and wagons." As for the Continental kits, I swear that some diecast makers would slap a Continental Kit on the back of a VW Bug Convertible if they could get away with it.
LOL Phil. The "edit message" button is my favorite part of this site.
