We bought my wife a white Chrysler Le Baron Town and Country Wagon in 1979 when she went into real estate. Interest rates went as high as 20% then and real estate came to a grinding halt Talk about poor timing

@john-barry Glad to say we weathered the storm but the car did not. While sitting at a railroad crossing a trash truck rear ended the car and it was totaled. Fortunately my wife survived with only minor injuries.

@bob-jackman Thankfully she was driving such a large car. If you have to be rear ended by such a large vehicle a Chrysler wagon is the car to be in I suppose.
