Love the First Gear long bed truck! Looking at your aerial view, either First Gear is an oversized 1/25 scale or DM's is and undersize 1/24 scale because they sure look the same size to me. Whaddaya think?

hey Pete....someone sharper than me addressed that question when I posted some of these photos in April...it seems that the orange FG 1/25 is a long bed vs the DM shortbed in 1/24......easier to see when the image is adjusted like this
Edit: at first glance,it appears that the DM bed is narrower than the FG bed it could be the slightly parallax view, but I cant say with certainty that`s it
Lieutenant Columbo scratched his head in confusion; all he found before him at the location provided by his informant was a motley cast of characters and a rag tag menagerie. When his Captain handed him the case file code named The Case of the Wood Pecker, Columbo had correctly assumed it pertained to recent rumors on the street regarding Pinocchio. Police Informant sources indicated that a few days after being kicked out by Geppetto for his chronic lying, Pinocchio had been grabbed off the mean streets by a gang of sleazeballs. The beloved lad was reportedly being held against his will with cruel plans to force him to star as a freak attraction in the X-rated movie industry. Just as he was about to give up and return to his Peugeot convertible Columbo caught a glimpse of Betty Bibb tinkering with a motorcycle in the back of a Chevy pickup parked nearby. Watching her out of the corner of his eye, Columbo saw the lifelong criminal drop down behind her motorcycle for cover as she recognized him, then seconds later walk quickly to a nearby building. The detective felt a rush of excitement as Betty knocked on a side door, which was opened by a swarthy looking thug wearing thick gold chains around his neck. After conversing animatedly then glancing nervously in Columbo's direction, the pair entered the building and slammed the door. Knowing that the incorrigible Betty Bibb had been involved years earlier in the porn industry, known then as The Notorious Busty Betty, Columbo sensed that he had just struck gold in his search for Pinocchio. Realizing that time was of the essence Columbo sprinted toward the door and finding it locked, kicked it open. As the door gave way Columbo heard the roar of an engine and the squealing of tires as the Chevy pickup driven by Betty careened out into the street and sped away. Investigating the nearby sound of wood banging on concrete, Columbo entered a darkened room at the back of the building and found Pinocchio thrashing about, tied to a chair. As he reported in to headquarters and requested an APB for Betty Bibb and her truck, Columbo escorted the shaken but very grateful Pinocchio to his Peugeot. En route to headquarters Columbo felt a surge of pride from within as it dawned on him that he had just prevented a sordid and completely unacceptable chapter from being added to a beloved story of old.

hello Steve.....your mother has very good taste in her entertainment selections....I watch thru the series every four years or so....my posting theme is from Columbo Ep41:Beef with Wimpy.....it`s the episode in which Lt Frank buys a sandwich on the way to the crime scene only to find that Wimpy is about to elevate his criminality to the felony level......the closing scene where Columbo sends the REAL criminal off to the slammer was a heads-up for pork barrel politicians everywhere

Wonderful Geoff !!!......looking for the proper Lt Frank auto was a fruitless search for me......I finally had to settle for a Harry Potter car as a "close enough" selection
