@jack-dodds.......... watching an episode of Columbo can be like enjoying a particularly well prepared meal ....one in which no element has been overlooked
I do think they jumped the shark a bit when they tried to lose the hound in favor of a large brown cat (Columbo and the Unarmed Man).....not quite as jarring as Mr Monk loosing Bitty Schram 😒 .......but unsettling nonetheless
@john-barry Well the casting change to mountain lion is obviously disarming to Columbo and studio extra David White (aka Larry Tate). The drivers are unmoved by it ....they have seen it all before.

Lt. Frank, being a city slicker and Young Frankenstein movie fan, is trying to figure out if you pronounce Bossy's breed as Holsteen or Holstine. Meanwhile Wimpy is busy figuring out how many burger patties she would yield.

Ain't it da truth; ain't it da truth!! We have the entire Columbo series and special movies on DVD and watch them, at least, once a year. He ALWAYS got the perp, slimy or not. Well, except one time and one time only, the killer was allowed to skate.
Would that be Nancy Kerrigan or Tonya Harding ?Â
Umm, oh wait neither one of them was a killer they just wielded a baseball bat...Â
....it`s a shame they couldn`t have written a few lines for the Rigby girl,but the premise sounds interesting.....I can envision the glint in Frank`s eye as he has to justify his decision......it`s on-tap for this evening`s view-a-thon
