Here's a few shots of the full diorama I did a few years ago. I am determined to set up another one this year in my new surroundings, I have added a bunch of new accessories too.

the story I wrote to go with it -Part 1...

"Small Town Car Show"

I attended another car show today. It was on a smaller scale than previous ones I attended this summer. It took place in a small town not far from my house, real close actually. A friend invited me to attend. I had a good time and took a lot of photos.
I was even given the opportunity to have some one-on-one time with some of the cars. Good shots too. There were 20 cars in attendance, and the retired farmer who held the show had three of them himself. Although, because of room, didn't have two of them displayed. Since this was in a very small town and the only new car dealership they have is Merritt Chevrolet, a good portion of the cars were Chevrolets. With that, there was still a beautiful Buick and Cadillac, a couple of Fords and a nice old Mopar. I was told that a '56 Chrysler 300 was supposed to be there too, but the farmer told me the owner was put off last year by comments that his car was less than accurate and didn't compare with the Desoto that was also there. It was a no show as well. No matter, I had a great time. Met some good people, fantastic weather, great photos too.
Here are a few for now, I will post more as I finish them.
I am really hoping the one-on-one shots all turned out.

I remember seeing this post, I saved several of the pic's, unbeliveable job. I love taking pic's outside also and I know it can be time consuming for a temporary set up. This one is so realistic with so many cars and people. The garage is really nice, is it a mass produced G scale building or did you scratch build it?

@iragill

I purchased it, the company was American Diorama. I haven't seen them available lately.

The opinions expressed above cover my thoughts quite well. Your story is perfect especially the guy who wouldn't come back because of his car not being totally correct...happens nearly every show or cruise in.
