Mine had issues

I guess its just a crap shoot anymore. Mine had scratch on the windsield and the door molding didn't line up. Sad too, I was looking forward to that, so I had to call for a replacement. Also got the Wisteria 56 Lincoln and the vent window on the passenger side was way off. LOL

The fragile emblems...

I received mine yesterday but I have to get a replacement. One of the damnably fragile photoetched emblems was damaged.

One would think that by now DM would have figured out a way to clearcoat those so they aren't subject to damage.

This is disappointing since the car was beautiful in every other respect. They really did do a great job on this one.

Not yet...

They definitely aren't clear coated or sealed in any way on the GTO convertible and they are very fragile.

The customer service person I spoke with said they are getting a lot of feedback from customers on this problem and she would pass my comments along about how fragile and easily damaged they are.

This has to be costing them a lot in terms of returns and shipping costs. Granted they can recycle the one I'm returning by putting a new emblem on it, but there's still the cost involved to do so.
