......Each participant in the `58 Sea Bass Rodeo, shares the suspicion that they were all given a bad address for the launch site.None of them seem the least bit encouraged to launch into what looks to be a pretty substantial surf.
.....Bob Sitterson actually encourages wife Judy to "ride" the boat through what promises to be a groundbreaking launch maneuver,possibly earning him the most sportsmanlike angler award this year.

@perrone1 I'm thinking if the water is shark infested, they are the bait.
No way! Ain't possible - 'Shark Week' is over; that fish has sailed - LOL!

Sadly these derby participants have failed to read the fine print on this year's application form; which clearly stated that the style used would be surf casting. As the men commiserate in confusion, newly wed amputee Judy shouts out excitedly from her trailered boat as she spots surf fishing legend John Barry making a bare-handed catch while up to his neck in the raging surf.

YES! I was hoping you would dig this award winner out of your archives! You can bet Judy will work the crowd and stump for you to win this year.

Judy's friend, Marsha, has already started stumping for her husband to win this year's tournament.
So you might say that Marsha has a leg up over Judy.
But let's just see who puts their best foot forward first in this competition.

hello Steve.......we do not now,and have never in past memory, had a "Marsha"......are you maybe thinking of "Margaret?"

Excellent set-up here. It's engaging just trying to separate the real from the supra-real.
