@perrone1 Speaking of sun screen, A friend has a fully restored 58 Bonneville coupe with a very rare option. The car has an inside sun visor that is tinted see through plastic mounted on tracks that can be pulled down by either the driver or passenger . It covers about a third of the windshield when fully pulled down.
Geno, your pictures and model are outstanding.
A gorgeous Pontiac in gorgeous colors....I love it.
Absolutely one of the most beautiful Pontiacs ever! I've always felt that 1958 for General Motors gets a bum rap, because their cars for that year were more, than any other car company, the epitome of chrome and glitter.
And that is what makes them (to my eyes anyway) stand-outs in a year that often gets blamed for the downfall of rival Ford's, Edsel and the advent of "smaller" cars just two years later.
For GM, whether one bought a Chevy, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick or a Cadillac in '58, it gave the impression to on-lookers that you were on top of the world.

I was out driving in an easterly direction yesterday at around 7.30am, the time when the sun was directly in drivers eyes, what a great idea Bob, now next time I'm out at that time again, I'll be thinking if only.....@perrone1 Speaking of sun screen, A friend has a fully restored 58 Bonneville coupe with a very rare option. Great pics Geno, one of my favorites, pairs beautifully with the green hardtop.
The '58 Pontiac Bonneville is gorgeous in any scale.

great shot Greg, notice u have also removed the conti kit. I'm not overly keen on it but as the coupe shows the cars rear without, I'm ok with it being there. And also for a while I thought I might find the red convertible at a reasonable price. Ha! to that idea! They are lovely
