Hi ... My name is Dennis ... I'm Addicted to Die Cast Cars
Hi Dennis............
DAH!!!! Everybody 'here has the same itch! Scratch it already! LOL!
That is my problem too. Having re-boxed about 600 or so of my 1000 1:24 models, my addiction has never been more apparent than right now with little white boxes stacked everywhere.

Tell me about it ...
Just listed an imperfect white Ebbro Toyota 2000GT on eBay, and then ended the listing 5 min later, because I decided I can transform it to convertible or modify it to racing version.... sometime in the not so foreseeable future. That is not unreasonable, right? Until I tell you that I have 4 others in every color produced ... and badly need several hundred bucks to pay my diecast credit cards.
I also am a diecastaholic. I bit the bullet several years ago and overcame my affliction by selling off almost 400 cars. However, I will be a diecastaholic all of my life. I know that if I weaken and buy just one . . . I won't be able to stop there. It is a constant struggle with me.
John ... I soooo feel your pain .... I will be ... Moving to Crossville Tenn in 2 - 3 years
I am already unpacking brown boxes, cataloging and repacking white boxes into bigger brown boxes
I have uncovered that I now own more than just one of some of the hard to find die cast cars
In fact ... I own many duplicates.
I am such a die cast car hoarder
I wish I had your die cast car credit card bill ....
My balance is in the thousands ... :p
And still growing :O :))
OUCH! Some of you are scaring me when you say you have thousands on your credit card bill from buying these little cars. I'm happy to say that all mine are bought and paid for. Good luck on those cards guys, if you're only paying the minimum payments you'll be paying on the cars for the rest of your life. Hope that's not the case.

Alright, let me make you feel better ...
... my minimum due payments are few hundred 😉
The funny thing is the money is not the problem, all my other bills are paid in full: cars, Stanford tuition, house is almost paid ... I will stop here, basically trying to stay honest about the cost of my collection.
Don't worry George. The benefits outweigh the risks.
AND .... George does not have to pay the bill
Dennis, I did the same thing. When not all models are displayed and no formal inventory is done, duplicates and triplicates will be bought. When I pulled boxes out to sell my collection I had to laugh at how many times I overbought.
