That is really bad. I'm not surprised about rot in pre-war Dinky Toys but there is really no excuse except incompetence and uneducated labour for that mess in relatively modern models.

if I had a dollar for everytime I`ve been told THAT................... ๐คจย

Maybe it would be appropriate to name the eventual Frankensteinian survivor "Dorian Gray"
I have 2 Nash Metro's and have not seen any issue like this.ย But did have a ltd Ed Edsel that the hood just crumbled.ย I got a donor hood and had it painted and then I installed it.ย Looks brand new.

This little Nash looks like it might be a diorama candidate.
my "good one" is missing a headlight, taillight and a wiper blade.....the rest of the donor should provide some good truck bed decor ๐ย
ย
Thought u might do that with it John. We'll be seeing Dorothy after a few too many flinging bits of Nash all over the place??
ย
Dorothy, assuming you`re referring to Alice,is falling all over herself to do the Nash Chronicles....the producers are dead set against that.
.."a portrayal of pathos and despair of this magnitude, can only be handled by a more matured (sober) actress. We`re giving a tentative greenlight to Laura for the role"

I dunno.....it is pretty apparent that Laura slept her way to the top.
Sorry to see that cute little Nash suffering so ๐ขย
Would I be correct in assuming that this is a problem with diecast, but not white metal models? In other words, are 1/43 Brooklins exempt from this issue?
