Oh Boy!!!! More repaints!! I can hardly wait.
Hudson seems that they are doing a whole line similar to the super detailed Hudson.
And the solid sterling silver corvette is a MUST have for me. Classic old style Franklin Mint elegance.
I don't know. Nothing excites me with the new releases.
So What
An announcement telling us that finally, after all these years, they are finally upgrading to the level of quality of DM, at a higher price of course. And they still don't have all the intricate and number of parts as WCPD. And more re-paints! Gold plate and sterling silver do not make these models any better, just more expensive!

It seems like there have been a number of postings on this website about repaints, old technology, etc. A posting on 155 Vettes between the two Mints, seven of which are 58 Vettes now we will have 8. From what I have read about the 36 Hudson I will want to wait until it gets into the secondary market so I can get a chance to pay what it might really be worth.
There was also a posting that suggested that one of the mints was monitoring this site. After reading TFM press release it sure could not have been TFM that was doing the monitoring.
Precision and price????
Regards
Rich
Didn’t we go through this already a short time ago?
Didn't see any Dodge Super Bee 440, 426, or HEMI Six Pack Cars on the New FM List ?
Guess that the FM has not been to any of the Barrett Jackson Auctions lately.
I haven't bought from FM for 5 years now 5 years ago most of my new models were FM as I considered them to be the leader. Today nearly all 1:24's are from DM with most of the WCPD chevs in both hard and soft top and a couple of GMP. The announcement of the repaints will not change my purchasing habits.
Whatever floats your boat..........
But gold or silver plate on a diecast does nothing for me.

Does the Hudson no exceed the detail on DM's $135 cars?
working cloth top and leather seats. Not to mention its a special 25th ann. offer. Im sure a lower priced version will be offered. Its no different that the FOP Porsche 911 from 2002 with old tech and a $195 price. I do love my Porsche though.
I wonder...
what the new limited editions that Raffi is working on are?
Yawn! Nothing we don't know already. Until a mint make something of interest to me, I'll pass.
I'm waiting for some "news" that one or both major mints are going to release all new images not produced before. I can dream! LOL!
Some DM 1/24 re-paints are $140...
...and they have a few 1/16 scale items on a piece of wood that are $199.
It's the cost of doing business that is the story here.
Some of GMP's new 1/18 offerings are $269.
None of this is secluded to just one company.
Even the cost of light bulbs is up. So try not to get too many "bright ideas".
I agree John not to mention it's inaccurate as well and all that for ....
An inflated price! LOL GREAT NEWS indeed lol
