I'm really missing John's posts and hoping that he is getting well and will be back with us soon!  I'm sharing one of his beautiful shoots of Danbury Mint's outstanding '48 Chrysler New Yorker convertible.

Beautiful pics and the car is stunning. I don't have this Chrysler as my collection is primarily focused on 50's thru 70's.

You missed a goodie in this one Pete.  And there is also a maroon version.  Two of my favorite DM's.

Have and love both also. I can never choose a favorite between the Champion Blue or Sumac Red. And I, too, miss John's fantastic photos and collection and the beautiful way he stages them!!

 

He'd no doubt have shown the Sumac Red version as well:
