I've always wished that Danbury Mint would have heeded the words on this flyer.  "GO AHEAD", build us a '55 in this color combination!

I agree George.  The '55 Olds is a beauty; much better nose than on the '56, which I don't mind either!

Oh wow!  Though I like the '55 grille better, I also love the '56's mug!  And I like the Dashboard better in the '56.  That said, I think the Dashboards in the '54, '55, and '56 were three of the best ever in the fifties.  And then when it comes to the '57, those that have followed me here on the Forum over the decade know that I'd give my first born kid for a '57.  Smile

I only wish I could like 1:43 scale.  But alas, they will always be too small for my collecting taste.  I do like your example though.  Thanks for sharing!
