With yesterday's '49 Olds "88" Coupe on my mind, and it being parked next to DANBURY MINT'S outstanding Black Woody Wagon, I had to feature the Wagon this morning.
I've not normally been a Wagon fan of real cars, but the Diecast 1:24's from the mints have all been absolute knockouts and this OLDSMOBILE is no exception. WOW! It's a beauty!
Some REAL '49 OLDSMOBILE WOODY WAGON Facts:
There were two series, the 6-cylinder "76" Deluxe Station Wagon that weighed 3,680 pounds and sold for for hefty $2,895 of which 1,545 were produced. And there was an "88" with an 8-cylinder engine of which 1,355 were produced.
Oh and that's me and my princess on the bench next to the car.

It's been a busy day on Forum 1:24 today.

Who could possibly not like this wagon especially with the endorsement of the dwarfs and mice?
Another one of DMs fabulous "woody" models. I am very happy to have this one.
