I have seven of the Highway 61 Challengers. Have to say when they are displayed next to a Danbury or Franklin diecast, you cannot tell the difference. They tend to be lighter in weight, but the overall detail, fit and finish is excellent. Not sure about $100 each, but I'm ordering one anyway.

Indeed, good news for those of us begging for some 1/24th releases from ANYONE!

you know, there are several VP Challengers out there. in 1:18 and 1:25.

but none was done exactly right. the cars used had no chrome gas cap, but the plain painted one. and no hood pins. and a single chrome cheap mirror on drivers side. Yes, ACME should do the definitive VP Challenger. it would be a relatively cheap model to do and I think would sell well..
do it!!!

Don't want to start an argument, but I've got a 1/18 HW61 1970 Hemi Cuda. The detail on this model is exceptional. I know this is a bigger car than 1/24 and therefore the detail most likely would be much better. If the detail on the Acme versions of the 1/24 HW 61 molds is anywhere close to what they did in 1/18 I think it will be better than what FM/DM put out.
