Two beautiful models - stunningly photographed - of these iconic gout d'eau Lago-Talbot.
Nowhere nearly as well photographed, nor detailed is this line of Figoni Et Falaschi Lago-Talbot up to the 1939 Delahaye 165, also by F & F (at the time, the always facetious English upper class used to refer to them as Phoney and Flashy).
And still more Lago-Talbot, Delahaye, and one Delage all Figoni Et Falaschi.
@charles-rockett WOW! You're an F & F lover too, I see. I have a bunch in various scales and I love them all. I have to remember "gout d'eau" so I can impress my friends. LOL
@perrone1 Where were you? Monterrey? Did you meet up with Raffi there?

If you don't mind being sniggered at, a little French goes a long way! I have to be careful, though, as a little is all there is 😉
@perrone1 Very nice photo's and what a treat to see these together for comparison.
@donderbeestje All 1:43 - I'm not sure of the form, perhaps I shouldn't post these on a 1:24 forum, but if it's relevant to the subject, I pop my little 1:43s in!
They are various Chromes, Heco, Provence Moulage, Spark and Ixo (though the one Ixo, they unusually got badly wrong: bonnet shape and two-toning was incorrect).

50th anniversary of the Concours d'Elegance at Pebble Beach. Yes, Jay Olins, Raffi and I were there together. Raffi:
@perrone1 I envy you that trip. Raffi is definitely the guy you want to be with for that extravaganza.

Yes, a dear friend, great pal, and brilliant auto mind! I was lucky to meet, get to know and fully appreciate, Roger Harnock and George Bojaciuk, both former FM Design Mangaers as well as dear friend James Wolff and long-time close friend, Rick Hanmore, design managers of DM.

And nearly as much fun as photographing the cars at the Annual Franklin Mint Car Show, as I had with my other dear, dear friend,...........YOU!
