Hi Everybody.
I will introduce myself. I am Robert, car collecting sinds the 70’s. But begin 2000 I have sold my whole collection with Rolls Royce and Bentley models. Why? Don’t ask me. Sometimes things happens. Some years ago I have started all over again and started with mostly Franklin Mint and some Danbury Mint modelcars, that’s because my most loved model off al time was also made by Franklin Mint: the Rolls Royce 1907 ‘AX-201’. Eversins I have always wanted it back. Sinds there are so many off this model made, it wasn’t so hard to find.
But when you are a collector it will never stay by one model, so I am working on a small interesting collection again, and it’s growing with small steps again. To put the model just behind the glass, is easy. So I do like to share some off the items to show them on YouTube. I have made a channel for those who are intrested Robert’s Modelcar Collection where some off the models are and will be shown in de Future. So you can have a closer look at some of these models. I also will put some pictures here on this topic. And you are most welkom to visit my Facebook page RobertsModelautos In these modern time it’s possible to share and don’t leave the models just behind the glass.

 Welcome aboard Robert! Glad to have you here.

I, too, love that car. The head FM Designer at the time it was released was Roger Hardnock. He painted a beautiful rendition of the vehicle and I bought print #200/200 from him and had him sign it. One of my treasures!

Franklin Mint 1:24 1992 Rolls-Royce Corniche - Nbr 444 Ltd Ed of 2500.

This color setting was made next to de common blue and white version. There is also  the black version from the Empiror of Japan, but that version is still on my wishlist.

Nice RR collection! I think @lu has the Emperor of Japan RR, that is a very rare one.

Welcome aboard Robert. I love your models, I have the 1907 RR in 1/24, and all three of the Corniche convertibles. Love them.

Your photos make this model look great. Until recently I hadn't seen good photos of this one and I always thought the colors looked off. Now I am thinking different. If one comes my way at a good price, I just might add it.

Thanks for your excellent photos.

I have always loved Rolls Royce and collected models of them from an early age. My first were likely Matchbox Yesteryears but many others followed including most Franklin Mint issues.

No photos of these presently so will enjoy the fabulous variety shown on this posting. Thanks everyone.

@robert_kalkman

Very cool too. I didn't get this one, I really love all the "Brass Era" models that FM issued, but at some point back then my focus changed so passed on them. Probably shouldn't have on this one.
