Phil mentioned the detail in the 59 Pontiac and how a close up of the front end made him realize more and more that it was worth every penny of the admission price. I couldn't agree more.

As I said in that earlier post this is the only one of the three that John posted, that I still have. I only wish we had gotten a hardtop.

Well, that's enough for me for one evening. Think I'll go jump in the Poncho and cruise on down the coast. Don't I wish. LOL.
Thanks for looking.

THE END
Well Jim...isn't there a chance of 'grafting' on a hrdtop from a '59 Chevy?
Great detail shots. I think the '58 and '59 DM Pontiacs are fantastic.
USAF 1958-62
We went through that with Rick Hanmore.
aka Rick MoeLou According to Rick, the 59 Caddy hardtop would be the better candidate although it would take someone with more skills than I have when it comes to building models, that's for sure. Not to mention the cost of the donor cars.
YIKES!
Jim that really is amazing! it looks like a 1:1 just like the DM 65 Thunderbird!!!
DM has done an amazing job. Let's hope they can return to this level...
In all honesty - Im sorry I didnt buy two!
Wonderful pics. I have it also and love it. Thanks for posting.
I don't get that. The Chevy and Pontiac had the same roof. The Cadillac has a longer roof as does the Buick and senior Olds.
