Edsel looks extra special in that color combo.

As much as I love Citation convertibles, FM made some glaring errors on this particular version. The red used should be more of an orange red. Citation convertibles did not have a black and white interior option (black and white interior option was for Pacer convertibles). This model should have had a red and white interior. FM made the same interior mistake on the coral/black version. (In addition, coral was not available on Citations and Corsairs. Available on Ranger, Pacer, and Bermuda only.) Out of the four versions FM produced, the original Chalk Pink/Frost White and Turquoise/Frost White versions are the most accurate to the 1:1 automobile.

Lovely photos of the model, though!

You are right, sooo... In my "Diecast World" this car was purchased by a collector who had it repainted to Ember Red & Black, and the upholstery was very bad and was restored to a non-original color. Anyway, that's my story and I am sticking to it. LOL!
