PICS: My WISH LIST 1:24 die-cast car #2

Oh how I wish the mints would have stayed around long enough to give us this striking and eye-catching 1959 Buick.

How nice it would be to have both a convertible and 2-door hardtop of this classic!

And I'd take in these two colors too! Can you imagine how perfect Danbury Mint would have these Buick's?

The hardtop is stunning in that color combo. Let's commission someone to make it!!

You're killing me, George. Those two cars are magnificent. One of my favorite years for Buick.

Mark, the 59 Buick is my FAVORITE year. I think it GM's best looking 59.

I'm hoping too, that my "Wish List" postings will continue to generate feedback and conversation. It is my intent to continue doing this once a day for at least the immediate future.

Like everyone, there were cars that I wanted the mints to give us in 1:24, and back in their heyday, that was the fun of it.

After the 58 Buick I made weekends home to Cleveland from NC died - I was able to pick up a 59 Electra 4dr. sedan which was a much better car - from handling to performance and reliability. Besides being a whole lot better looking

I suspect licencing fees play a major role as to which cars are chosen. That is why they pick.....

unpopular cars.

I would have loved a '58 Limited. May have to settle for the Sun Star 1:18 one of these days.
