Mrs. Robinson was just never my type. She was married and old. I did love the Simon & Bullwinkle song though and LOVED Dustin Hoffman's Alfa Romeo!! AND LOVE this pic!!
Art Bullwinkle hasn't aged well at all, has he!
good days, bad days Chevy............his draw is seasonally variable

@perrone1 Tony; that's so cool it's almost cruel......
Why? They're easy to make and shake. The recipe is good gin (vodka, if you are adamant - but it's unnatural and against God's infinite will) I prefer Bombay Sapphire. 2 1/2 parts to 1/2 part Martini & Rossi Dry Vermouth. In a shaker with (here's the secret) cracked ice - it provides a better infusion of flavor to render it smooth. Shaken and poured into an iced glass with a good quality olive or two.Â
Only have one and only after some time goes by, before having another, to insure that they are regarded as something 'special'.
@perrone1 The "cruel" part of my comment referred to when I watched the post of your martini being "poured" I just wanted to reach in and grab it. Lol.
Nonetheless, thank you for your recipe Commander Bond. My ratio is 6 to 1, so we're on the same page there +-. Cheers!
