Nicely done, Pete! My small house wouldn't lend itself to such a nice, professionally done  display, so I've got my display cases attached to the wall in my model room. I'm anticipating moving to an even smaller villa or apartment within the next few years, so I've begun slowly auctioning off my collection one-at-a-time on eBay. If Tony and them ever get the auction page going here, I'll participate 🙂

If you`re not there to receive it, will the Chili Powder go into protective custody? Whatever you decide to do,I hope you find great satisfaction with it John.....You`re one of the good ones

Thanks, JB. I don't do much of anything in a hurry anymore. I've enjoyed buying and selling on eBay for over ten years but I'm thinking ahead and sorta planning for the day when I'll need to downsize again.

I thought I'd share the diecast display I built a while back.  My house has a small wall between the entry way and the family room which was perfect to use as a display area.  So, I cut a hole and widened the wall about one and half inches and had a glass shop cut tempered glass shelves and doors, along with side and bottom mirrors.  The shelf bracketing system is from Home Depot.  The lighting is quartz halogen and is dimmable, but I don't use it anymore because the models got too close to the lights after adding more shelves over time. I will eventually convert them to LED.  It is fairly dust free.  This is where I display part of my Pony Car collection. Enjoy!

Pete, first my apologies for just now seeing your incredible display and being late to the party.  I am very impressed with how you did this in the wall.  I shared the photos with my wife, and she too, is in awe of your work.  THANK YOU FOR SHARING!  Great collection!
