This '47 Cadillac convertible was another of those 2 for $25 models I picked up at a show. The exterior paint was decent and the top had enough texture to intrigue me. The interior was a complete nuthin-burger. and the engine bay was passable with a bit of paint. I sort of imagined it would be something that Lana Turner would cruise Hollywood in so I decided to feminize the interior. I went after the steering wheel and the "juke box" dash with sone chrome and paint with faux wood trim all around. I textured the floor and rear tray and did the rest in soft pinks with darker piping. It's not a standout model but it did fill a hole in the Cadillac shelf.
OUTstanding Rich; outstanding!
Great work Rich, love the dash!
Very nice. It does have a certain "star quality" about it. Is this a 1:24 scale? A model kit? The only '47 Cadillac models I've ever seen are the 1:18s from Anson.
Nice work on it Rich, I have a Black Top Down model just sitting around until I get up enough energy to do some fixing.
Rich, you sure know how to apply lipstick. This could pass for an older FM issue. Nice job!
Nice job. Some of these cheap trills look good even without lipstick. I have a top down version of this Caddy, black with black and white interior. For the pocket change price tag you can't go wrong.
