there ARE no beans,only Castoreum

"Castoreum is a compound that is secreted by beavers to mark their territories. Due to the unique diet of beavers, Castoreum has a pleasant scent and is used in vanilla flavouring"

other topics we would have entertained:

Hey!!! it`s the scary monkey bellhop !!

The actual name of the skeleton in the truck bed.

Maggie (in her best cat on a tin roof dress) seems kinda "taken" with Farmer Ivery...wazzup w`THAT??

For what cash-on-the-barrel-head venture is Uncle Dad paying the Sheriff

splainin

Well that is very educational JB....and I think I've just downed my final bottle of Vanilla Extract.

hey kids !!   .....       instead of Beaver Squeezins, would you rather have some top shelf Vanilla ? This one is heads and (no) tails above typical grocery store vanilla extract.

not any MORE ya dont!!!!..........oh well.....since Jack spilled the beans,I might as well `fess up......what goes on here is barely a cottage industry......our meager 2021 production is just reaching it`s prime cure stage, and will go to distribution soon.....no one in the colonies has EVER been allowed to bean dip.............so,appealing to them for black market beanage would prove fruitless

Doh!  Did I say HAS a colony?  Sorry for making things tense....my typo....I meant he HAD colonies of beavers.  Which he no longer has because he discovered what he was doing was illegal and he would never do that....yeah, that's extractly what happened.  Dam...I would never tell tails out of school, trust me.

Morning Gents,

I used to hail from Beaverton NY. A might lil village in Upstate NY on the Niagara River. Beaverton no longer exists. It was flooded out years ago due to...wait for it...you guessed it...a series of dams that a few beaver colonies had constructed on an offshoot of the Niagara.

There had been a 'beaver convention' a year earlier and the colonies loved the upstate's weather so much that they decided to stay.

Needless to say, a lot of damage was done. Especially to groves of Maple trees which produced the most exquisite 101% pure Maple syrup which was a mainstay at the Tadpole Cafe for their flapjacks and waffles.

I believe Susie Anne had dined there once and was intoxicated by the Heavenly fragrance and taste.

This experience may have helped her to open her successful restaurant.

More research needs to investigated. My Vanilla Maple Pecan Waffles are ready so please excuse me for my breakfast. Eat

Well now...Susie Anne never mentioned her stay at the Tadpole Cafe.  Thanks for connecting the historical dots Steve.....and sorry about the flood; I hope it wasn't caused by Canadian beavers upstream.
