Kevin and Michelle have the brochures.

They want to figure out how to best use them according to Josh's request. They need to be collated and organized, then listed. This is a fairly big job. When decisions are made, they'll let us know.

John, honestly I don't understand why Kevin and Michelle are dealing with this ...

but you understand your relations with Legacy/MintModels better than us ...
I just don't like the trends developing in this forum with the MintModels sponsorship, we lost Marchall Buck because he said few critiques about Minichamps, Jim Cowen is not posting here anymore ... I really want to participate in an independent forum.

Gents, I am a volunteer who gladly works for the Zone and Legacy

I enjoy the work and consider it my contribution, putting something back into the hobby. Josh wanted to contribute the brochures in his father's memory. I volunteered to receive them but do not have the time to collate, organize and list them. Kevin and Michelle, who own Legacy/The Zone, graciously agreed to undertake that formidable task.

ChaV, Mint Models is not a sponser they own the Forum & Legacy. as far as the Individules mentioned

They (2) each are retailer, sellers & manufacturers. Does Sears Roebuck let Target (a competitor) use Sears Ad space that Sears paid for? Hardly. They want Mint Models & Legacy to buy product so they can make more cars. They use the Very person(s) who they already sold to, who has paid for product up front and they want our members to then buy direct from them, hurting the efforts of the customer they already sold to. Pretty underhanded & All quite unfair. I ask you why would Mint Models or Legacy Motors pay for advertising that benefits their competition. Look at it this way - you have a Garage sale to sell things and Your neighbor has the same stuff so he adds a note (covers your address in the process) on the signs YOU put up that he is closer and cheaper(Not Necessarly)than you & there for you should buy from him & negating your efforts, tell me you would not be irritated? sure you would! Some of the Hot Heads around here would go Kick his A**!

Legacy sold out as they were going under. If they (Legacy) had then the forum would have dropped from sight/operation. We owe Mint Models, Michelle & Kevin for them saving our Forum. They pay (Mint Models/Legacy)the cost of running/programing/repairing the Forum's Like Legacy did before the purchase of Legacy & the forums. Last years Fund Drive produced some $5,800 if memory serves me correct or at least close, which isn't even close to the actual cost (There are No Free Lunches Do you like & use the Forum?). Michelle & Kevin are supporting US & we seem to be looking the "Gift Horse" in the mouth. Instead please say "Thank You" so we can continue.

I have been a Mint Models customer and as such always had superior service on each & every purchase. I had one return which was the 1/12th Corvette as the Lights did not work. That was due to The Franklin Mint build, not something Michelle or Mint Models did. They Own & Operate Legacy Motors where you may purchase from also. Legacy was & remains a sponsor (with Mint Models) of(pay For) the Forum. Yes some of the cost is paid by us in the form of Dues and contributions to the Zone Your Cash & Model donations to be auctioned. Unfortunately it isn't enough so they help out our efforts. Thank You to Michelle & Kevin.

We should all read the FAQ's (click at the top of page) as those have been in effect since inception of Legacy/GneraKnab. It does cover most situations. It also sheds light on the responsible parties as well as those who Volunteer their time to make this all a success. Some History too.

I had some thoughts, but I decided not to share them because it really doesn't matter. It's better to let the dust settle. Looks like everybody is happy, but me, with the situation and Michelle explanation.
